1977: Where it began

CORD Chemicals, Inc. was established on July 7, 1977. From its humble beginning in Samat Street, Mandaluyong City, the entrepreneurial endeavor became one of the biggest manufacturing companies in the epoxy industry.

Since then, CORD has been at the forefront of the adhesives, coatings, and sealants industry, designing, manufacturing, and marketing products made for Filipino homes, workshops, and industries.

The first marine epoxy coating system

The company was the first to develop and introduce the CORD MARINE EPOXY COATING SYSTEM, the first comprehensive protective coating system designed specifically for harsh marine conditions.
